Texsal is a group of women located in the Ecuadorian highlands producing knitwear, accessories and jewellery. Created in 1976, the company was formalised in 2001, this association works for social and economic development for their community and their people. The artisans live at an altitude of 3550 meters above sea level, in Salinas Bolívar, Ecuador. A town recognised nationally and internationally for its process in community associativity and micro enterprise development.
